Our Roots

Angie & Phin

A yearly tradition for us....

I grew up below the gnat line in a neighborhood on the edge of a pecan orchard and across the white, sandy, curvy, live oak lined road from the Dougherty County Saddle Club….made for a fun, memorable childhood.

Phin grew up here in Athens….and he’s where the pickling hobby comes from.  He’s the brains of this biz… I’m just…well…the one that documents it all…cuz there’s just so much the pickle biz has added to our lives!

We’ve got three kiddos…Kat is 12. Billups is 8. and Rosey is 4… So….we’re really bizzy and always will be! Our life is a gallery of memories….That’s for sure!

Our 3 Kiddies

Kat, Billups, & Rosey

We started Phickles Pickles cuz we always knew we would some day… And with the economy taking a trip down-hill….we had to get creative.  So… www.phickles.com was born! And so….for the rest of the story….you’ll wanna subscribe to this blog!

Hi Angie – I and my family really enjoy your product. Unique, fun & delicious Your tweets bless me often. Keep it up. You are blessed and are blessing others. I have birthed and sold two businesses. I’m working hard on a third. There is just something about being an entrepreneur, putting it all on the line, working hard, cutting all bridges behind and trusting Him. My life has been an incredible journey of faith, trials and blessings and I am forever grateful to our God. May He bless you and Phin and your precious children!!

  2. Glad you’re doing a Blog Angie! Look forward to reading it.
